Evaluation and guidance

Answer evaluation, doubts and mentor sessions

Have your written answers evaluated, ask about a lesson, book one-to-one guidance or join a free masterclass.

Some features are introduced gradually; the app's Explore section shows what is available on your account.

  • Answer-writing evaluation

Write an answer to a question set by the faculty and submit it for evaluation. A reviewer gives marks out of 10 with written feedback and notes, or returns the answer with a reason. Each evaluation uses one credit, and a returned answer gets its credit back.

  • Ask a doubt

Ask about any lesson day that is open in your course, in up to 2,000 characters. Faculty answer in writing, in a thread, and you can add a follow-up to each answer.

  • Mentor sessions

Book a one-to-one session for guidance or a mock interview from the open slots. Each booking uses one credit, which comes back if you cancel up to 12 hours before the start. The joining link opens 15 minutes before.

  • Free masterclasses

Free live online sessions for every learner. Choose Remind me for a reminder 30 minutes before the start, and join from 15 minutes before.

Legal Smriti provides legal education. It does not provide legal advice or legal representation.

Doubts are about a lesson, answers are written to questions set for practice, and mentor sessions are for guidance and mock interviews.

Reference and revision

Bare Acts and reference tools at hand

Look up a provision, keep notes on what you read and revise at your own pace.

Some features are introduced gradually; the app's Explore section shows what is available on your account.

  • Bare Acts

Read selected sections of key acts, chapter by chapter, with section search. Find an old provision, such as an IPC section, and see where it now sits in the new code, and what each new section replaces.

  • Search

One search across your open lessons, your own notes and Bare Act sections.

  • Legal updates

Short summaries of judgments and amendments, published by the team. Each is a summary for study: the original judgment or notification has the exact wording.

  • Notes

A private note on any lesson or Bare Act section, up to 5,000 characters, kept with all your notes in one place.

  • Bookmarks

Bookmark lessons and Bare Act sections to come back to, from one list.

  • Flashcards

Decks on legal maxims, key sections, limitation periods, professional ethics, the Constitution and similar topics, studied in short sessions with spaced repetition.

Continuous learning

Learning that stays with you

Every course keeps its open days, so you can come back to a lesson long after you first read it.

  • No end date

Course access has no end date. Every day that has opened stays open, so you can go back to any lesson when you need it.

  • More than one course

Add another course to the same account and switch between your courses from Home.

  • Notifications

Your notifications tell you when the next day is ready, when a class is about to start and when feedback is ready.

  • Completion certificate

Complete every day of a course with a fixed length and your completion certificate is printed and posted to the address in your profile.
