The platform

Structured learning and professional development, in one place

Legal Smriti offers day-by-day courses for law entrance tests, the All India Bar Examination, judicial-service and prosecutor examinations, and the practice of law.

Each course moves one day at a time, from the day's lesson to a live class, an assignment and a reviewer's feedback, so that what you learn builds steadily. Alongside the courses are tools for practice and revision, and professional development for advocates: answers to your doubts, answer-writing evaluation, mentor sessions and free masterclasses.

The daily rhythm

How Legal Smriti works

Every course follows the same pattern, in the Android app or on the website.

  1. Step 1: Enrol in the app or on the website

Register free and choose your course. Access to a paid course begins once your payment is confirmed.

  2. Step 2: A new day opens each day

Day 1 opens when your access begins, and a new day opens every day after that, each with its lesson. Open days stay open, so you can catch up at your own pace.

  3. Step 3: Join the live class, or watch the replay

Join the day's live class while it is on. If you miss it, you can watch the replay up to 3 times.

  4. Step 4: Complete the day's assignment

It opens once you have attended the class or started its replay. Answer every question, then submit it once.

  5. Step 5: Receive marks and suggestions, then complete the day

A reviewer marks your answers and writes a summary and suggestions. The app tells you when feedback is ready; read it, then complete the day.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Short answers to common questions. The FAQ page has more.

What is Legal Smriti?

Legal Smriti is a structured, day-by-day legal-education platform. You learn in the Legal Smriti Android app or on the website, and each course opens one day at a time: a lesson, an assignment that a reviewer marks and, when one is scheduled, a live class.

Is registration free?

Yes. Registration is free: you pay only for a paid course, and access to it begins once your payment is confirmed. Each paid course has a one-time fee, shown on its course page, and Drafting Assistance is free for every registered learner.

When does my course start, and how do its days open?

Your course starts on the day your access begins: the day your payment is confirmed, or the day you add Drafting Assistance. Day 1 opens that day, and one new day opens each calendar day after that (India time), on your own schedule. Days don’t wait for you to finish the previous day, and open days stay open, so you can catch up whenever you need to.

What if I miss a live class?

Watch the replay. If you miss a live class, you can open its replay up to 3 times, and the app always shows how many replays remain before you start one. A replay counts as soon as it starts, and there is no deadline for watching it.

Will I get a certificate?

Yes. Every paid course includes a completion certificate. When you have completed every day of the course, your certificate is printed and posted to the address in your profile.

Can I learn in the app and on the website?

Yes. Learn in the Legal Smriti Android app or on the website with one account: your courses and progress are shared, so you can move between them at any time.
