How learning works

How a day works

Every day follows the same steps, in the app or on the website.

  1. Step 1: A new day opens each day

Day 1 opens on the day your payment is confirmed. After that, one new day opens each calendar day, and every open day stays open.

  2. Step 2: Read the lesson

Each day starts with its lesson, which you read at your own pace.

  3. Step 3: Join the live class

Join while it is live, at the time set by the course team. Missed it? Watch the replay, up to 3 times.

  4. Step 4: Submit the assignment

It opens after the class or its replay. Answer every question, then submit once.

  5. Step 5: Get reviewed, complete the day

A reviewer publishes marks, a summary and suggestions. Read them, then tap “Complete Day”.

Notifications tell you about class reminders, new days and feedback that is ready. See how it works

Course structure

Passage first, questions after

Every section of the CLAT paper is built on reading passages, and the course works the same way in all five.

  1. Section 1: English language

Reading passages, each followed by its questions.

  2. Section 2: Current affairs, including general knowledge

Passages on recent events, with regular briefings in the course.

  3. Section 3: Legal reasoning

The principle is given; the skill is applying it. No prior law is assumed.

  4. Section 4: Logical reasoning

Passages followed by questions that test the argument.

  5. Section 5: Quantitative techniques

Questions on sets of numerical information.

The full mocks follow the same pattern: 120 questions in 2 hours, with negative marking. The Consortium of National Law Universities publishes the official pattern; check its notification for the final figures.

Learning outcomes

  • Apply a stated legal principle to facts, with no prior law assumed
  • Keep up with current affairs and general knowledge
  • Work to the paper's time limit and negative marking in full mocks

FAQ

Questions about this course

How long is the course, and how do its days open?

The course has 60 days. Day 1 opens on the day your payment is confirmed, and one new day opens each calendar day (India time) after that. Days don't wait for you to finish the previous one, and every day that has opened stays open, so you can catch up at your own pace.

What if I miss a live class?

Each live class runs at a fixed time set by the course team, and you can join it only while it is live, in the app or on the website. If you miss it, you can watch its replay up to 3 times. Replays don't expire, but they are only for classes you missed, and course videos can't be downloaded.

How are assignments reviewed?

The day's assignment opens after you attend the live class or start its replay, or straight away when the day has no live class. Answer every question and submit once: a submitted assignment can't be edited. A reviewer then publishes your marks, a summary and suggestions, and you are notified when the feedback is ready. Reading it and tapping “Complete Day” completes the day.

Do I get a certificate?

Yes. When you have completed every day of the course, a completion certificate is printed and posted to the address in your profile. You can follow its status on your profile.
